Eatontown driving School will accompany the student at the time of the road test and provide a review lesson. The review lesson will go over the skills for the road test prior to the test.
An instructor will review every aspect and maneuvers for the test especially parallel parking. A detailed assessment of the students’ performance will be given upon completion.

About The Road Test:
- Starting your vehicle
- Turning (hand over hand)
- Parking (parallel parking)
- Backing (reverse in straight line, left hand top of wheel, looking over right shoulder)
- Intersections (look both ways when approaching intersection)
- Steering (hands at 10/2 or 9/3)
- Turn Around k-turn or 3 point turn
- Attention (follow directions)
- Stopping (full stop behind line)
- Speed control (speed limit is 25 mph)
- Up/Down Hill Parking
What You Will Need For Your Road Test
- Properly equipped vehicle includes: access to brake, working signals, brake lights or Eatontown Driving school vehicle
- Vehicle must be registered, inspected, insured with all current documentation
- Accompanied by a licensed NJ Driver or Eatontown Driving School Instructor
- Student Driver must have: valid permit, original civil birth certificate or passport
